Africa needs leaders who have values and walk by them, who are willing to go the long haul and make long term generational investments, who will stand true to their values and calling, leaders of unshakable and tested integrity, leaders who are teachable in their reputation. We believe that this can best be attained by the John Maxwell Principle of “you are the average of the 5 people you spend time with.” FLI believes that in creating a critical mass of young professionals that are faithful, available and teachable and upping their social capital average and quality of leadership exposure through mentor-ships, fellowships and practical placements, it will address Africa’s current hunger for ethical and impactful leaders.
