Uganda’s First Ever Public Interest Litigation In Uganda

KAS Uganda, in partnership with the FLI, unveiled Uganda’s first-ever Public Interest Litigation (PIL) Compendium. The PIL Compendium presents 24 landmark cases that have shaped Uganda’s legal and constitutional development including Charles Onyango Obbo & Andrew Mwenda v Attorney General and the CEHURD v Attorney General cases, which continue to influence freedom of expression and health rights advocacy respectively.
