The PIL Compendium presents 24 landmark cases that have shaped Uganda’s legal and constitutional development including Charles Onyango Obbo & Andrew Mwenda v Attorney General and the CEHURD v Attorney General cases, which continue to influence freedom of expression and health rights advocacy respectively.

Written in clear, accessible language, the publication is a vital learning tool for lawyers, students, civic educators, and citizens interested in understanding how justice evolves in practice.
